With limited space, your annuals will soak up all the water and nutrients in the basket a lot faster, so you’ll need to stay on top of watering and fertilizing to keep them growing strong. During the hottest parts of summer, these annuals may need a drink twice a day!

- Water once a day and twice a day when it’s extra hot outside.
- Remember to water deeply each time!
- Feed with a water-soluble, balanced fertilizer every two weeks.
- Trim leggy vines so that your plants grow thicker and fuller.
- Always read the plant label to determine if your basket thrives in full sun or shade.
- Pinch off spent blooms to keep your basket looking fresh, particularly petunias and geraniums.
